Giveaway #7: Walking As He Walked (Reformation Heritage Books)
The seventh book given away, the second by Reformation Heritage Books, is Walking as He Walked by Joel Beeke. Here is how Derek Thomas describes this book: “A Christ-centered tour de force which gets us into Christ’s servant heart and asks the pointed questions of what that means for us who are in union with Him. Deeply and affectionately pastoral, Dr. Beeke gives us a magestirial example of puritan-infused, preached prose that is as fresh as the air we breath. Like the puritan Richard Sibbes, know to his contemporaries as ‘the sweet dropper’ Dr. Beeke has a similar touch, presenting to us the confidence, richness, depth, and encouragement of the gospel.”
I am excited about this particular resource as we explore gospel application in our daily lives. I want to express my gratefulness to Reformation Heritage Books for their continued support and generous contribution to the Band of Bloggers!

Wow. I am going to have to pack light so I have room to transport all these books back home! This is starting to remind of The Shepherd’s Conference, with the stacks of giveaway books you come back with.
Inside two weeks now, anticipating this gathering greatly!

Seven down – one more to go.
Seriously Phil (and everyone else traveling-especially by air), you need to consider how you are going to get the books back. We are giving away eight, and I am guessing T4G is going to give away somewhere around 15-20.
That means, you will have somewhere around 25 books freely given, not counting the books you might buy from the bookstore. If each book weighed a bound, that’s half the weight allowed for a checked bag.
I would suggest packing a large backpack (empty) or something similar to it in your checked bag. You can use it to pack all the books and then check it as your second checked piece of luggage. Otherwise, I don’t know how you would avoid the additional fee for overweight luggage.
