William Graham Tullian Tchividjian (pronounced cha-vi-jin) is a Florida native, the founding pastor of New City Church (EPC) just outside of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, a visiting professor of theology at Reformed Theological Seminary, and a grandson of Billy and Ruth Graham. A graduate of Columbia International University (philosophy) and Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, Tullian is the author of The Kingdom of God: A Primer on the Christian Life (Banner of Truth) Do I Know God? Finding Certainty in Life’s Most Important Relationship (Multnomah) and Unfashionable: Making a Difference in the World by Being Different (Multnomah, coming in April 2009). The author of numerous articles Tullian is a contributing editor to Leadership Journal. Tullian speaks at conferences throughout the US and his sermons are broadcast daily on the radio program “Godward Living.” When he is not reading, studying, preaching, or writing, he enjoys being with people and relaxing with his wife Kim and their three kids Gabe, Nate, and Genna. Tullian loves the beach, loves to exercise, and when he has time, he loves to surf.   Some of Tullian’s favorite authors include C.S. Lewis, John Stott, Charles Colson, J.I. Packer, Jonathan Edwards, and G.K. Chesterton. He also happens to be somewhat of a music buff who likes listening to basically everything except country.

Tim Challies (Facebook | Twitter) is a web designer by trade. Although he is not involved in vocational ministry, his blog has proved to impact and to minister to a large section of the evangelical world. Tim graduated with a degree in history from McMaster University, and soon thereafter moved from being an aspiring historian to a web designer and founded Websonix. Tim also manages The Discerning Reader, a wonderful collection of reviews, reading lists, and other information about Christian music and literature. The Discipline of Spiritual Discernment, Tim’s first book, was published by Crossway in early 2008. Commonly known as “The World’s Most Famous Christian Blogger,” Tim’s influence is a great success story of how one has used the medium of blogging for the glory of God.

Mike Anderson (Facebook | Twitter) loves Jesus, his wife-Jen, and the local church. His work as director of the Resurgence focuses on helping to build up churches and inspire church plants. Mike is a young guy who sees himself as a connector bringing together the right people to do the best job possible. At the Resurgence, Mike uses his time and passion to bring attention to the best teaching, empower the right people to contribute, and build the systems to make it all work.  He is also a member of Mars Hill Church in Seattle, WA.

Eric Johnson (Facebook | Twitter) is a Web Metrics Analyst at Google, which basically means he mines spreadsheets full of data to uncover interesting stories about the human behavior hiding behind the numbers. Eric also serves as the acting Marketing Director for Desiring God Ministries. Previously, he worked as a Senior Copywriter / Brand Manager at NavPress and as an Intern for the US State Department in the Netherlands. In his (non-existent) spare time, Eric likes to spend time with his wife, Kari, and their four children.

Justin Taylor (Facebook) is the ESV Bible Project Manager and associate publisher for Crossway Books in Wheaton, IL. Prior to that, he served for five years as the theology director and executive editor at Desiring God Ministries in Minneapolis. Taylor has a B.A. in the study of Religion from the University of Northern Iowa, and is an M.A.R. candidate at Reformed Theological Seminary. He has co-edited and contributed to several books, including Beyond the Bounds, Reclaiming the Center, Sex and the Supremacy of Christ, A God-Entranced Vision of All Things, Suffering and the Sovereignty of God, Overcoming Sin and Temptation, Communion with the Triune God, and The Supremacy of Christ in a Postmodern World. Justin lives with his wife and two young children outside of Wheaton. He enjoys reading, blogging, and spending time with his family. He operates johnowen.org, a website dedicated to the life and works of John Owen. His blog, Between Two Worlds, is a mix of theology, philosophy, politics, and culture, and is one of the most widely read blogs in the blogosphere. Justin also blogs at Reformation 21.

Owen Strachan (Facebook) is the Managing Director of the Carl F. H. Henry Center for Theological Understanding at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He is a PhD student in Historical Theology under Jonathan Edwards scholar Doug Sweeney at TEDS. Owen cherishes life in Highland Park, IL with his wife, Bethany and his daughter, Ella Rose.  He is a member of CrossWay Community Church of Kenosha, WI.  With Doug Sweeney, he is writing five books for Moody Press on the life and thought of Edwards for laypeople.

Steve McCoy (Facebook | Twitter) is the Pastor of Doxa Fellowship, a church replant in Woodstock, IL (Chicago burbs). Steve’s main blog on church, family, theology, and art/culture is Reformissionary. He also has a church blog and a city blog. Steve also writes for The High Calling.  Steve has an associates degree in dental technology from Southern Illinois University, a bachelor’s degree in biblical studies from Colorado Christian University and an MDiv in missions from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is married to Molly and has four kids: Sarah (12), Jack (10), Elijah (8) and Daniel (6). Steve’s best friend is Joe Thorn, who is shorter and balder than Steve but together they gave birth to a web ministry called sub•text, discussing the gospel in the suburban context.

Timmy Brister (Facebook | Twitter) is associate pastor of Grace Baptist Church in Cape Coral, Florida and creator of the Band of Bloggers fellowship. He is a master of divinity student at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary where he is completing his degree in church planting and missions. Since March 2005, Timmy has been blogging at Provocations and Pantings as well as various group blogs. More recently, he has been writing at Sowing Grace and True Grace of God blog.  A stated desire of Timmy’s is to network gospel-centered and missionally-minded bloggers for the purpose of elevating the standard of Christian discourse and advancing the Gospel with unity of purpose and passion for Christ’s Church.
