<p>Here is a brief bio sketch of Phil:</p>
<blockquote><p><a href="http://teampyro.blogspot.com/"><strong>Phil Johnson</strong></a> is <font color="#000000">Executive Director of <a href="http://www.gty.org/" target="_blank" title="http://www.gty.org/" rel="nofollow"><span style="color: maroon">Grace to You</span></a><span style="color: maroon">,</span> a Christian tape and radio ministry featuring the preaching ministry of <a href="http://www.tms.edu/profs.asp?profid=7" target="_blank" title="http://www.tms.edu/profs.asp?profid=7" rel="nofollow"><span style="color: maroon">John MacArthur.</span></a> Phil has been closely associated with <span class="yshortcuts"><span style="cursor: pointer; -moz-background-clip: -moz-initial; -moz-background-origin: -moz-initial; -moz-background-inline-policy: -moz-initial; background-attachment: scroll" id="lw_1207166184_1">John MacArthur</span></span> since 1981 and edits most of MacArthur’s major books. Phil also pastors a group of 500 adults collectively known as <a href="http://www.gracechurch.org/ministries/default.asp?ministry_id=9&amp;nc=1142656869954" target="_blank" title="http://www.gracechurch.org/ministries/default.asp?ministry_id=9&amp;nc=1142656869954" rel="nofollow"><span style="color: maroon">GraceLife</span></a> at <a href="http://www.gracechurch.org/" target="_blank" title="http://www.gracechurch.org/" rel="nofollow"><span style="color: maroon">Grace Community Church</span></a> i</font>n <st1:place><st1:city><span class="yshortcuts"><span style="cursor: pointer" id="lw_1207166184_2">Sun Valley</span></span></st1:city><span class="yshortcuts">, </span><st1:state><span class="yshortcuts">CA</span></st1:state></st1:place> . He stated blogging on a whim in June 2005 and can’t stop. His blog, <a href="http://teampyro.blogspot.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"><span class="yshortcuts"><strong><span style="font-size: 11pt; color: black; text-decoration: none"><span style="-moz-background-clip: -moz-initial; -moz-background-origin: -moz-initial; -moz-background-inline-policy: -moz-initial; background-attachment: scroll" id="lw_1207166184_3">Pyro</span></span></strong></span><span class="yshortcuts"><strong><span style="font-size: 11pt; color: red; text-decoration: none">Maniacs,</span></strong></span></a> features two first-rate co-authors, Dan Phillips and Frank Turk, plus Phil’s nearly-mute sidekick, Pecadillo.<font color="#000000"> Elsewhere on the World Wide Web, Phil is best known as the curator of <a href="http://www.spurgeon.org/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"><span style="color: maroon">The Spurgeon Archive</span></a> and <a href="http://www.spurgeon.org/%7Ephil/hall.htm" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"><span style="color: maroon">The Hall of Church History</span></a><span style="color: maroon">.</span></font></p></blockquote>
